even on a light usage day I have to recharge my phone daily. US websites advertise extended life batteries for Razr v3, 1300 mAh, but no where can I find these in Australia. Can anyone advise ?

I hv now ordered an Extended Life Li-ION, 1300 mAh battery with extended case from CBW-Cellphone Battery Warehouse in the US. Cost US$27.95 plus US$14.94 delivery, not a bad deal. Said to increase talk time up to 4.5 hrs and up to 60 hrs standby. If these claims are true, it will solve my problem. East to purchase on the web.

Depending of what you use, always be sure all batteries are the same, charged and suited for your camera. Most of the time even new Ni-CD rechargeable batteries won't work, because the voltage is to low, according to NiMH or alkaline batteries.
Always charge NiMH batteries before using them for the first time, or if they have not been used for a long period. 3 months is a very long period.
Always charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together.
Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in your camera.

Always low battery

These cameras need good batteries. Make sure you either are using quality Alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable.
Also check that previous batteries did not leak and damaged terminals

Low battery alert at start up. must always type

The only battery in a desktop PC is the CMOS battery. This is a 10c sized silver disc that is held in a plastic black clip on the Motherboard. It can be clipped out and easily replaced. they are 3.6v and somewhere like Radio Shack etc. will have them.

GE Simon 3 low battery warning: Newer battery has 6.54V?

Read the battery voltage with the system on but with the ac power disconnected. I always suspect the battery from experience. Battery needs to be replaced every few years normally(but can vary).

Battery always low

Sounds like the cells inside of the battery are not holding a charge, you need to get a replacement battery honestly.
