Anyway the model I got on your problem says it is a Refrigerator...but I can help you to remove the Knob on a washer....first you may have to place a flat head screwdriver in between the knob base and the control panel ..(You may want to place a piece of cloth against the control panel to prevent scratching the surface of same)..slowly force the screwdriver further under the knob alternating form side to side gently lifting up as you do.....(all of this is is premised on the the notion that there is no set screw in view anywhere on the knob)....also most all washer knobs are held in place on the shaft with a little spring loaded retainer that pushes out against the inside of the knob so it does not easily come off.

Hope this helps...please rate me...the Fang

Samsung top load WA54M8750AV/A4 Lid locked won't power on fully

It is probably the lock assembly itself that is bad. I just replaced mine, a 20 minute job. You should be able to reset the machine and unlock the lock by using a series of turns on the knob after re-plugging it in. check onYou tube for the exact model of your washer. Don't try to remove the control panel assy. the top of the washer should lift up if you slide a thin painters trowel in the front to release the clips and then push the top toward the back about half an inch and then pull forward while lifting.

I can't get to the timer to replace it Kenmore110.24982300

Disconnect the power. There are two clips to release, one at each front corner of the control console. Use a putty knife, push it between the machine top and the console in from the corner about 3/4". Push firmly but carefully. you will feel the clip pressure. Push slightly and it will release and the corner of the console will be free to lift slightly. Repeat at the other corner. With both clips released you can roll the console over the back to have working room to change the timer. The timer control knob has to be released from the back side of the timer. Look in the center of the timer from the back side and you will see that the stem on the timer switch is held in a groove by the timer case. Release the stem from the timer case and pull out to the front.

How do I remove the Washer Control Knob from a Kenmore compact stack washer dryer?

If you suspect you have a defective timer it can easily be replaced by performing the following steps:

1. Unplug washing machine... and pull out the timer knob. Some knobs have a removeable center cap and hidden screw. Some are simply slip-fit. Remove the knob.

2. Remove console. This can be accomplished in one of two ways depending on which type of console you have.

a. If the console has removable end caps, the caps lift off by prying on the top from the back of the washer.
The cap will pull off towards you as you are facing the unit from the front of the washer.
There will be a screw under each end cap that you will need to remove.

b. If the console does not have removable end caps, you will need to slide a putty knife under the front corner of each side and push in while lifting up.
There is a retaining clip under each side that has to be released.

3. Once the console has been released it will lift up and fold back over the back of the washer in its resting position. Use care not to stress the small plastic hinges that hold it on. They can break easily.

4. Disconnect all power plugs and remove the timer's mounting screws.

5. Reinstall reverse of removal.

How to replace the selector control knob on a Frigidaire front load washer Model FWT449GFS2

Push-in center knob and and turn Counter Clockwise to loose it from the treaded shaft. Next, without Pushing in, continue turning CC till it comes off.

If necessary, remove the outer indicator knob by sqeezing the two release clips in the center. This knob is keyed to only go back on one way so you don't need to remember its location before removal.

Reverse the process to install new knobs.

Oh, if you need to replace the cam or timer which are behind these knobs, the front panel will have to be removed by first removing the top cover of the washer. Now you can access the six screws inside the washer and one in front behind the detergent dispenser.

I need to get the drum out of my Hoover washer to replace the bearings.

hi Step 1: To remove the control panel, remove retaining screws spaced around the panel. They are usually located under a piece of molding or trim that can be pried off. On some machines, you'll have to remove the back of the control panel, also held by retaining screws, to get at the working parts of the controls. Knobs on the control panel are usually friction-fit and will pull off. Some knobs are held by small setscrews at the base of the knob. Loosen the setscrews with a screwdriver or Allen wrench and pull the knobs straight off the shafts.
Step 2: To remove the service panel, remove its retaining screws, then spread an old blanket on the floor to protect the washer's finish. Make sure the machine and hoses are drained of water. Tip the washer over on its front or side to gain access through the bottom of the machine. The bottom of the machine generally doesn't have a service panel because it is usually open.
Step 3: To remove the top of the cabinet, insert a stiff-bladed putty knife into the joint between the top and side panels and give the knife a rap with your fist. This should release the spring clips so that the top can be removed.

How do I remove the selector knob on washer

The main selector control know spins off by turning the selector inner knob counterclockwise. The outer ring will then pull off. The other knobs are held on with friction and should just pull off.

The best way to get behind the front panel is by removing the top panel of the machine. There should be 2 gray/solver tabs at the back of the machine near the top if you remove the 2/4 screws from the top then the whole top panel will slide forward then lift off.

Be sure to unplug the machine first.

How to remove the washer cycle selection/start-stop knob on a Whilpool Heavy Duty Thin Twin stacked washer dryer

I believe the selector knob on a Whirpool just has to be turned counter-clockwise with the selector pushed in. It will spin off the shaft and then the outer indicator dial will pull off. The shaft also has a keyed slot that will only allow the dial to be removed and installed one way, so there should be no question as to how it goes back on.

Was there a reason as to why you are removing the washer selector knob? If this is a simple matter of replacing a broken water temperature selector, you shouldn't have to remove any of the control knobs to gain access to the selector. The entire front panel comes off by removing the screws holding it in place. That way you can access the broken selector from behind the front panel much easier. Just remove the panel right above the washer top (under the dryer) and it should expose the front panel mounting screws. Remove these screws and the front panel comes off. Just make sure the unit is unplugged before you begin. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you need further assistance.
