No power to newlt built pc help please !!!!!!!

Hi All,
I have just finishing putting my new pc together this is the first pc i have ever built and i thought i had done it all right but i guess not, i have followed the motherboard manual (i think) i have connected everything i plug the pc in to the wall and nothing not a light or beep nothing? i have taken the motherboard out of my old case and changed it over and upgraded its memory and hdd , i cant seem to find any solutions on the net i have tried 2 other psu's and still get nothing??

If anyone could help me whilst i still have some hair it will be great......

PLEASE NOTE THE ASUS MOTHERBOARD IN THE PRODUCT FIELD IS NOT MINE , MINE WAS NOT IN THE LIST

    Hi James,
    my motherboard is a asus k8s-mx i have taken the motherboard complete with the processor out of my old machine(which was wowrking fine ) i have changed the ram but have used some which was listed for mine on crucial , the motherboard has got a 20 pin power connector and the small 4 pin which are both connected the ram i have put in is 2 sticks of 512mb they are clicked in properly i ahave upgraded to a 250gb hard drive im not sure if that will help in any way but that and the ram oh and a new sound card are the only things i have changed on the motherboard since i removed it from my old case?

    I have got the pc working now it was the new sound card that was stoping it turning on ? i dont know why it seemed to fit properly and everything if you have any ideas of a sound card i can get for this motherboard that would be great?

Some simple questions first is processor installed and locked in same with ram. does the MB have a squar plugin next to processor if so is the two yellow and two black connector pluged into it from power supply then is ram right front bus speed fpr the MB and is the processor the right FSB for the MB. this is very important your MB will not turn on if incorrect send me the MB numbers and i will try to get you straight thank you james

    go t the MB manufacturer asus and check which PCI slot the sound card is supposed to be installed in some boards the sound card will only work in the correct pci slot some ae assigned to top slot and some bottom just check it out

Hi, i have a new computer and im wanting to print but have no idea where ive put the cd for my hp photosmart 8150...? Please tell me theres a way i can use my printer stil by not having the cd..?
Sir,
First take the adapter,power plug put to power socket and othe side connect to printer.then take the datacable and connect one side to printer an other side to pc.then Pls put the cd in your cd driver,it will autorun,then press install and keep on NEXT and finish.then give the print.

I have a Video card built into my computer , I had another Video card put into my computer . Now my computer started messing up, I need to get the one I put on my computer off and I dont know what I am...
Just remove the new video card and the system will revert to the original built-in video. Unplug the computer, take off the cover or side plate, remove the screw holding the video card end bracket, and pop the card free from its socket on the motherboard. It's quite simple.

If you run into more problems, please post a follow-up comment. I would like to know what your computer began doing when you say it's messing up. Are you trying to solve a video problem by uninstalling the new video card? Are you planning to restore your computer using a recovery disc? If that's the case you don't need to take out the new video card. You'll just need to install the necessary drivers for the card after the restore is finished.

How do iget my built in webcam working for my
Hi there, please follow the steps.

1. Double click my computer then double click USB Video Device. You
can see your self then. If the USB Video Device not showing there then
you have to install the cam first.
2. Power On the laptop & after ready your OS for work just put your Dell driver DVD in DVD RW/ROM. when its open, that time just select webcam driver and install it as per your operating system. Usually Dell user's are install Broadcom driver for webcam.
So do it and after finish restart the laptop. Your will see your cam is ready for use. Then follow the first instruction.
