Hi All,
I have just finishing putting my new pc together this is the first pc i have ever built and i thought i had done it all right but i guess not, i have followed the motherboard manual (i think) i have connected everything i plug the pc in to the wall and nothing not a light or beep nothing? i have taken the motherboard out of my old case and changed it over and upgraded its memory and hdd , i cant seem to find any solutions on the net i have tried 2 other psu's and still get nothing??
If anyone could help me whilst i still have some hair it will be great......
PLEASE NOTE THE ASUS MOTHERBOARD IN THE PRODUCT FIELD IS NOT MINE , MINE WAS NOT IN THE LIST

Some simple questions first is processor installed and locked in same with ram. does the MB have a squar plugin next to processor if so is the two yellow and two black connector pluged into it from power supply then is ram right front bus speed fpr the MB and is the processor the right FSB for the MB. this is very important your MB will not turn on if incorrect send me the MB numbers and i will try to get you straight thank you james

my motherboard is a asus k8s-mx i have taken the motherboard complete with the processor out of my old machine(which was wowrking fine ) i have changed the ram but have used some which was listed for mine on crucial , the motherboard has got a 20 pin power connector and the small 4 pin which are both connected the ram i have put in is 2 sticks of 512mb they are clicked in properly i ahave upgraded to a 250gb hard drive im not sure if that will help in any way but that and the ram oh and a new sound card are the only things i have changed on the motherboard since i removed it from my old case?

I have got the pc working now it was the new sound card that was stoping it turning on ? i dont know why it seemed to fit properly and everything if you have any ideas of a sound card i can get for this motherboard that would be great?
