The auto clean on my oven is not working. The fan will come one, but the lock won't work, the clean light doesn't come on, nor does the lock light, and the oven does not heat up. How can I fix this?

F-3 signal on Jenn-Air SVE47600, grill-range, self-cleaning convection oven

The F3 means there is something wrong in the sensor circuit, sensor/wiring/clock. F3 Problem: Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD): Solution: Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Oven is finished cleaning but the door says "locked". The panel just shows the time and "locked" in red, under it. Help

I have Jenn Air oven S136-C with a locking bar. After cleaning cycle wait for the oven to cool down and the lock light will go out (but the oven is not yet unlocked.)

Set SELECTOR knob to OFF
Set TEMPERATURE knob to CLEAN
Press CANCEL button (on right) twice.
Slide the locking bar to the left and the oven door will open

Jenn-Air stove locked

After the lock indicator light goes out, move the door lock lever to the left. The oven door can now be opened. Turn the selector and temperature knobs from clean to off AFTER THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED. If the temperature knob is turned to off BEFORE the door is unlocked, the door will not open. Forcing the lock will damage the lock mechanism. If this should happen, return the temperature knob back to CLEAN, unlock the door, THEN turn the temperature knob off. Jenn Aire lock for self clean in locked position

The LOCK INDICATOR light must be OFF. This can take up to one hour!!!

Do NOT force the door.

Leave the SELECTION and TEMPERATURE knob alone. The Temperature knob MUST be set to CLEAN

Indicator Light OFF, knobs set to CLEAN - OPEN the slide lever.

Lever open, set the knobs to OFF and away you go

Jenn air s136 stove won,t self clean

You've probably already read pages 34 through 37 of the owners manual for this oven. We had this stove in the house we bought and the owner wrote in his own directions, which seem to work fine:

1. Turn knob selector to clean.
2. Turn temp knob to clean.
3. Close and lock door.
4. Push enter button and turn dial clockwise to desired time.
5. Push enter button again.

You've probably already tried this, but just in case I figured I'd pass it along.
