DVD in motion

Sounds like your constant memory supply wire is hooked to a switched power source.

I suggest contacting the folks you bought the maps from. Or, the clarion factory site.

hook the brakewire ti the ground from your radio and it will play while the car is in motion or parked

you obviously havent connected the grass green wire properly if u want to watch dvd's whilst u drive connect it to earth this should help u

If you have the old firmware then all you need to do is ground the parking brake wire..

if you have the new firmware(just bought the system) a toggle switch is involved:
1 - connect e-brake wire from dvd unit to the switch
2 - connect a ground wire from switch to the unit chassis(any good metal grounding surface will do)
3 - pop in a dvd, toggle the switch back and forth 2 or 3 times depending on what wire you placed where...and voilaa!! your dvd system should work in motion!!

You need a composite video cable to the Clarion Video input. The usual ipod adapter is for audio only. If you have an AV ipod adapter and you still don't have video, the signal is not strong enough for the clarion to see it and you need a 12volt pre amp. you can find them online starting around 25. Hope this helps
