Ih tractor I have a Case IH 956XL. I am having problems starting the tractor. I have cleaned the Fuel lift pump filter, replaced the fuels filters. before I started the tractor after replacing the filters I did bleed the air from the fuel line up to the return line on the Bosch Injector pump. It takes at least 4 - 6 goes at starting, before it starts. I have repaired the glow coil connection and when starting, I hold in the Glow Coil button for 30 seconds prior to starting, with no effect on the starting. Can anyone help me look for a solution. Right now I am going to check the injectors.

You will need to bleed air from the injector pump it self. Next to test glo plugs pull from engine and connect a wire to the body to the earth. Turn on ignition and press button for a few seconds and they should glow. If not check for power to the plug

IH FARMALL C

check the fuek lines for hole and leaks, check the fuel filter and clean if necessary. remove the carbuerator and inspect the gasket; it should be soft and flexible, if it seems hard or brittle replace it. clean the carb with carb cleaner sray (available at any local auto parts store) and compressed air. make sure you get inside the small fuel rail holes.
