My motem does not work wlth my xbox 360

Step 1 Form your Xbox 360 you need to be connected to the Internet by a straight LAN line or wirelessly. You can test you connection by going to the setting screen on your Xbox 360.

Step 3 Xbox 360 LIVE has several different options available for memberships. They are a monthly, 3-month and 12-month membership accounts. I would recommend a simple one month account if you just wanted to check out the features offered on XBOX 360 LIVE. If your an avid gamer and love to play games online with friends, the 12-month Gold membership is the way to go.

Step 4 Once you've completed the process of joining Xbox 360 LIVE, they will send you a confirmation email confirming your membership. Now you can log on to Xbox 360 LIVE and start doing this like customizing your avatar and playing online multi-player games.

Well try just a direct rout from your Xbox to the Motem hopfully it will work that way

just hook up your xbox by the etheirnet cable and your computers motem and go on xboxlive.com click create newaccount you must have a microsoftlive account

go to the dashboard,and test your conection,once it failes you can then search for your network,click on your network and type in the WPA key,which is written on the back of your router,and it should have no problem conecting to xbox live,depending on your conection,you mite have a bit of lag during online games.

1. With your Xbox powered down, take an Ethernet cable and plug it into a numbered port on the router, and plug the other end into the Xbox.
2. After you have your Xbox connected to the router, start up the Xbox without a CD in the tray.
3. After you start the unit, you should arrive at the “Xbox Dashboard”. Select the Xbox Live option and press the “a” button on the controller.
4. After “Xbox Live” loads select the Network Setup and press the “a” button your controller.
5. On the “IP Address” settings, you can choose “Automatic” or “Manual”, make sure it’s Automatic.
6. Select the Connect option and press the “a” button on the controller.

After you use the “Connect” option, the Xbox will detect the network cable, and will ask you if you want to connect to Xbox Live

is it the IP address?? if it is explore ur computer and try to find something about the IP address

Are you getting a Green light on the network port of the xbox?



If not the you may need to use a crossover cable. a striaght through cable (Normal Network Cable) wont work.

if you have a spare cable you can make one by cutting 4 wires
