This is how i preset my stations, im not sure if you have done this before.
fm can save 20 stations and am can save 12

1] chose your desired station
2] press & hold the play/memory button until P01 pops up and flashes
3] to save the station, press & hold the play/memory button

if you'd like to save another station, then repeat steps 1 & 2,
then press the play/memory button again until P02 pops up,
repeat step 3.
to listen to your preset station, all you have to do is press the play/memory button.

Just picked up a Technics ST-S76 am/fm tuner complete with cords but no operating manual - of course. How do I program in radio stations to memory? or Find an operators manual?

To program your radio stations to the memory buttons; Tune to the station that you want to save, then press the memory button (located next to the FM mode button on the lower right side of Tuner) then press the number button that you want associated with that station. You may save up to 24 stations. If you want to save a station in memory 10, tune in station, press the Memory button, then press 1 followed by 0. you must press them within a couple seconds of each other, or the first number pressed will be the memory button that saves. You may save FM stations and then Save AM stations. But you will overwrite any previous station saved to a given number when using that number again. If you save an FM station on a number, then save an AM station on another number, when you press the preset number, the tuner will automatically switch radio bands to accommodate the stations given band. cool.

I was in Target today, and opened one of the product boxes, looked at the operations manual, and here's what it says: to set the time, press the "set" button (the button on the right with the clock icon on it) three times (relatively quickly); all the digits on the clock should be blinking.  Use the "skip" buttons to change the hour, and the "volume" buttons to change the minute.  Press the "set" button once to confirm the time and exit the function.  I tried it this way, and it worked perfectly for me.  Good luck!

2003 Lexus ES300 How does one save Radio Statio presets? Going to the station and holding the button to save does not work.

Holding the button is supposed to work. This from owner's manual: PRESETTING A STATION:
  1. Tune in the desired station.
  2. Push one of the station selector buttons (1-6) and hold it until a beep is heard. This sets the station to the button and the button number (1-6) appears on the display.
Each button can store one AM station and two FM stations. To change the preset station to a different one, follow the same procedure. The preset station memory is cancelled when the power source is interrupted by battery disconnection or a blown fuse.

Setting presets on KLH R3100

No, not so easy, this isn't like your average car radio, unfortunately. This was driving me nuts, too, but I finally found a manual. Hopefully you have a remote, since that is needed.

Once you are on the station you want to save, press MEMORY on the remote. MEMORY will blink on the receiver's display. While MEMORY is flashing, press the button(s) on the remote for the number you want to save the station under.
