Did you check out the power supply for proper operation since both the audio and video are gone? If PS is good then the problem may very well be on main board.
You will need to get a diagnosis done on the set. It could be a power supply issue or a main board issue. Your problem is between one of those two boards.
Your power supply is dead. Power supplies can be purchased online for a couple hundred bucks, and replacement is fairly simple and requires only a screwdriver. For those less tech-savvy, you may want to start saving for a new TV.
Tv turn on now, have a flashes a picture only a few sec.than dies and have sound left only?Yes,than those 2 long boards to the left and to the right call the LCD inverter boards are dead. These 2 long LCD inverter boards, job are to help the LCD screen panel to have a backlight to produce a pictrue.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com.Ebay.com to buy those refurbishes 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.
It sounds to me that the unit has a faulty inverter board which could be due to an overheated/bulged capacitor. I would send in a claim on it to the factory if it is still under warranty.
If backlight went out then sound should still work. Are there any indicator lights to show power is coming on anymore? Try unplugging for 30 seconds, hit power button a few times, then plug back in and try to turn on. This drains any capacitors of power to attempt to reset (basically clearing the TV's throat).
Can also try something on a different input. If current input is composite, S-video, or component, try using DVI or HDMI connection as this uses a different board in the TV. If that fixes it, then at least you can try to replace one board instead of entire tv. :)
If you are using a set top box this might be caused by turnig the box on at the same tie as you turn the tv on or slightly after you turn the tv on. If you are using compnent or HDMI inputs the set needs to see the signal as it is turned on to know what formt the signal is in.
