The Main Circuit Breaker is located on the front base cover near the left drive wheel. I am not aware of a fuse on this model.

There is a main breaker on the front cover, inline fuses on the +battery cables, but there is no fuse indicated in the charger for the select 6.

SOURCE: When I charge my Jazzy select 6 over night the off

I am assuming that the PWC runs and the batteries behave like there is a full charge. The performance of the Jazzy is good. If you have a volt meter you can check the voltage at the charging port but this is too difficult for the average user.
There is a battery display indicator (BDI) on the joystick that indicates battery charge through a series of LED lights. More lights, larger charge and higher voltage on the batteries. There are two reasons why the LEDs are not lit assuming the first two sentences are true:
1. The LEDs or the circuitry running them is burnt out.
2. The LED module has come unplugged from the circuitry.

The solution for both problems is the same. Open up the joystick case( if it is out of warranty )and inspect the LEDs and wiring. The easiest and most expensive way to solve the problem is to replace the joystick assembly. If you do nothing there is a good chance that you will get stuck somewhere because you do not know the charge state of the batteries. If it is under warranty your problems are solved. Call a qualified dealer in your area and have the problem component replaced.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do you dial up the speed on the jazzy select 6

jrw if you are asking to increase the programmed speed of the chair then you need a programmer (a PP1) that will allow uo to increase the factory speed. But it's probably set at 100% already. Other than setting the speed on the joystick to full and changing the programmed speed will you be able to get the chair 's speed increased Hope this helps you

Power light is on the charger but no movement from the jazzy select chair

You have to disconnect the charger in order for the chair to move. It automatically removes power from the controller while the batteries charge.

1143 jazzy wheel chair new batterys @ new charger still not charging

With a new charger and new batteries there can only be one other problem assuming all the wiring is connected properly. There is a 7.5 Amp in-line fuse hidden in a fuse holder off the charging harness. This fuse may have blown. I usually check this fuse first since it is usually the culprit and most difficult item to locate under the back cover. In rare cases the ammeter burns open and will cause the unit not to charge. After checking the fuse you can jumper one or both these items to see if it will charge and then purchase new parts. Hope this helps.

Jazzy Select 6 Indoor Power Wheelchair: how to charge...

The Jazzy Select 6 requires an off-board charger. Plug the charger into a grounded outlet; preferably one that doesn't have other large loads on the circuit like refrigerator, freezer, microwave, etc. The male 3-prong XLR connector coming off the other end of the charger plugs into a female XLR connector which is on the joystick control's bottom-rear. Charge it overnight after each days use, and at least once each month overnight. You should get 2-4 hours of use from the chair at top speed with a 200 pound driver, depending on terrain and climate. If it isn't holding a charge, you will probably need two new U-1 type gel sealed batteries that run about $120.00 or so each. Make sure you test the old batteries first at a knowledgeable battery shop. These are deep cycle batteries and require a special testing. If the batteries are good, then your charger isn't charging. Search EBay or other online sites for a wheelchair charger in the 4-6 amp range. They can be found for about $45.00 or so. Pride will charge you a lot more.

My jazzy chair did charge up when we plugged it in last night. Is there something else wwe can do to get it to charge up?

Things I would check are ... Power at the outlet? Is the charger ON? Is there a fuse or circuit breaker involved? Are you certain it was plugged in (charger to charge port)? Have you noticed any deterioration in its operation recently?
