Where exactly do i find a cigarette lighter fuse so that i can replace it on a mercedes benz c320 v6 2004 model automatic ?

Should be fuse 12 which is a 15 amp fuse

I have a 1999 Mercedes E320. I tried connecting a splitter to my cigarette lighter port but as soon as I did smoke started coming out and it smelled like burnt plastic. Now when I try to connect anything...

It sounds like the fuse went out.

The cigarette lighter fuse is either 2 or 5 in the main fuse box.

You can buy the fuses at Autozone, and often if you ask nicely they'll replace them for you.

2002 c320 radio and cagarite lighter do not work.

Had the same issue on 2002 c320 . look at the fuse chart ,find out the fuse # that operate the radio and the cigarette lighter , you have three fuse boxes, engine compartment, driver left knee and trunk on left .find the fuse b compairing the char to the box , replace the fuse . DONE

Replace cigarette fuse in 2005 mercedes 500

Pull cover off left end of dash to find the fuse card and replace with same rated fuse.also check lighter socket that their are no objects fallen into it.

Neither cigarette lighter in my MB 2010 S 550 will work. I use the lighter to charge phone. since both are not working I am thinking it is a fuse. What else is on the fuse with the cigarette lighters...

LOOK IN OWNERS MANUAL IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT.IT HAS ALL FUSE AND RELAYS LOCATIONS.

Hi! The cigarette fuse is somehow interconnected with the radio fuse. If no luck, then i believe that the cigarette lighter needs to be replaced. Hope this helps and have a good one!

Spin or replace the fuse as the old aluminum fuses build up corrosion and dont work, or work on and off.

If its an after market radio check by removing unit and checking for fuses in line.

1995 camry wagon cigarette lighter not working

start with a test light and check for power at the center of the cigarette lighter socket. If power is good, then check for ground at side of lighter socket.
If no power, run wire from power wire of lighter to power wire of stereo, thus tapping the power directly and bothering to trace out where the open int he circuit may be.

Just did this on my 2002 C320. The blue 15 amp fuse is located in the front fuse box under the hood. It is either #47 or 48. If you already opened the driver-side fuse box, see if the paper fuse map is still there. If it is, find the fuse to be sure. Replacement is very easy, but there is a fuse puller tool in the spare tire well where your kit of replacement fuses should be. if you are in luck and you have a replacement, use the puller tool and replace the fuse.

Very simple, The lighter fuse is located in the driver (FUSE) are. Located as you open the door there will be a (Panel) the fastest way to fix this is to PULL all fuses one by one and find the burnt fuse and replace it.
