It seems to be a connection issue between the Lens and the Camera body. Perhaps the mount is not true to the body Ask Pentax about this their Technical Support Team

I've got the same problem. The problem is that the lense is loosely attached to the body. What you need to do is that when you see the Av flashing, press the lense of the camera to the body and twist the lense to the left a bit. This tightens the connection. You can then take the photo.

Also check that your diaphragm ring on the Zoom lens is set to the "A" position.

Use "exposure compensation" (the button with a plus/minus symbol). It allows you to lighten (toward the + side) or darken (toward the - side).

The lens pins either broke or maybe out of position and not moving the lens..
