Electric griddles have a thinner plate material than gas ones. they are generally less sophistacated and cheaper to make/made with cheaper materials.

I need a 20-in. Electric Griddle. know of any?

Yes, Lodge made a nice 20 inch cast iron griddle has bigger surface to cook more food with two side handles to make it easy to move. You have some other options like Presto 22 inch griddle, check out this link for different size griddles and pans with detailed information.

Griddle top replacement

well this is different, but sounds like fun. I would just Repair the gas griddle you have. from the sound of it you need to replace the 3 or 4 tstats that control the griddle. If you are in a Metro area you can find a dealer for Robert Shaw and get the parts you need. but you may also start at http://www.garland-group.com/. everything there will be newer but you will be able ask about where the data plate is and then get parts lists. call a small comercial kitchen repair company and ask for help there too.

How do I use the griddle

I assume you mean how do you turn on the griddle? Try the symbols, and if that is not the solution, turn each on individualy until the one that heats is the one you want.

Thermador Gas Range - Griddle ignition will not spark

I have a Thermador Gas Range PG364GDBS - Oven, 4 burners, and center griddle. All are gas. The four burners and gas oven work fine. The griddle just stopped working, no spark. Turning on the griddle control, the gas valve opens(hear it), gas flows (smell it), but the ignitor will not spark (no loud or faint spark that I can hear). I got a replacement ignition device (mount at the burner) thinking it might be the problem, but still no spark. I checked the AC voltage at the terminal and measured 39 VAC between the terminal and ground. Not sure if that is the correct voltage. Any insights or advice would be great.
