For the first day of using the webcam everything great until I started to see multi colored specks in my videos. Even the person I was talking to can see the specks. What is this? And how do I fix it?

I think what they are seeing is the photo you took with your webcam when you set up your account. Make sure your webcam is is working OK and then check your settings
Start Skype.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the navigation pane of the Skype Options window, click Audio Settings.
Select your LifeCam device as the default microphone. For example, select
Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000.
In the navigation pane of the Skype Options window, click Video Settings.
Select your LifeCam device as the default Webcam. For example, select
Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000.
Click Save.
Test LifeCam by making a Skype test call.
