I replaced my lamp a few months ago, and generally worked fine. It would occasionally have problems but I would reset and it would be up and running again. Now when i turn it on i hear sound but no picture and the tv turns off and I get the red light. Sometimes when I reset it would work again (usually worked all the time before but seems to not work now.) I have read many posts here and have couple of questions: 1) What is the problem? 2) I have read the problem might be the 3300uf power capicitors? Where do i locate these and how do I replace 3) How much would it cost to replace?
I am having a big Super Bowl party and need my TV to work. I have had this TV for 4 years and debating if I should buy a new TV or repair myself. Also any suggestions on new TV if I go that route or should I just repair this one?
Thanks, any insight will help

Could be the FMT pcb or the Dm pcb board you should check the caps on them and replace any faulty ones.
