JVC AV-65WP74 Blue and green out of focus, Tried convergence but the bluw would not line up. Any ideas?

Yes it is worth fixing . You can fix it yourself for about $ 21 . You need to replace the convergence I.C. chips , The part # is STK392-310 . you need two of them . You can get them from bluestar-online.com . They are about 6 bucks a piece and about 10 for shipping .

how do i adjust colors

you need original jvc remote for this to work. Do not open anything until you. Go to menu on your remote find convergence and press the volume button to the right go to manual and press right again. you should see a bunch of rectangles, now you should also see a set of red cross heirs press the #2 to move cross heirs up and eight to move down numbers 4 and 6 will move left and right and 5 will place the cross heirs back to the center once you have chosen the selected section to adjust line up the magenta with the other colors using the channel and volume buttons these move the lines up down left to right adjust all lines until they are white. i do not know how to switch from magenta to green or blue but this should get you started on the right track with out having to replace anything. good luck! if you figure out how to switch from maqgent to green or blue please post it so that I may adjust mine as well tahnks
