You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383

I recommend that you do not remove the door or hinges to do the job because if it's not aligned exactly, you can have microwave leakage.

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

Sounds like you have a defective oven Temperature Sensor Probe.

Let Me know if this helps you out.

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

SOURCE: can't put oven door back on

Hinge has a small hole in it. Lay door flat on rug. Take a pair of channel locks and tension hinge past hole. Put a screw in hole to hold it open. Then put door on product. Remove screws. Thanks, please leave feedback or contact me again for more info if you need it.

How do you tighten the oven door handle on a whirlpool electric range

Remove door from range and lay on flat surface inside face up. remove 2 screws at top and screws along bottom edge(4 to 6). The inside of the door should lift off. You will then see the screws that hold the handle on at the top of the inner side of the front half. Snug up the screws but don't over tighten if the screws pass through the glass panel. You don't want to crack the glass.

Oven door handle is loose on Model RF366BXD self cleaning range, how do we tighten the door handle?

Extend your door hinges and remove entirely over to a table or other flat surface where you can do a step-by-step dis-assembly. Unfortunately, to get at the interior of the handle unit, it's the final stage of the taking apart. Begin by removing the bolts at the bottom of the door, then the main panel and side flanges can be removed. (You can give your glass a good cleaning at this point also.) There are 2 bolts to remove to free up the handle unit, and now you can easily tighten (or replace as needed) the 2 pairs of handle bolts. Reverse your order to re-assemble, and put your door back on the oven. It's not as bad an exercise as it would appear. Just take your time and watch what you're doing. I used the hinges as a shim, and had it laid out on a pool table for easy, elevated examination.

The screws holding the handle on the oven door have come loose. How do you get at the screws to tighten them? It is a Whirlpool range designer model.

Without a model #, I would say you need to take the oven door off and disassemble it to get at the screws holding the door handle. Some models have screws going right through the door to hold the handle on. Best of to call a certified repair company such as Sears.

Kenmore Electric Range - Door handle Original bolts installed at the factory came loose and dislodged from the door handle.... no problems but this... i can not screw the handle back myself.. i tried......

We had the same problem. We had some tough epoxy that we squirted into the bolt holes, then screwed the bolts in. It took two of us, one to hold the door together and one to screw in the bolts. We didn't use the oven until the epoxy set, but now we no longer have a problem with the door falling apart every time we open the oven door!

Loose oven door handle

I had the same problem. We took the door off completely & turned it upside down. There are screws on the bottom of the door, take them out, take off bottom trim piece that holds the outside glass panel in place, remove glass panel and you can access the door handle screws and clean the inside of the glass while you are at it.
