Is there a manual for the ryobi expand-it 26 cc power head?

Replace the spark plug. Strip and clean the carburetor. Replace the fuel with fresh. But hang on though, the RY40002 is electric and runs with a 40 volt battery, so no spark plug and carburetor! :>D Replace the battery, lubricate everything from the motor to the head. Check the motor with nothing attached to it. The carbon brushes may need replacing or its bearings need greasing.

Your muffler may be clogged,may need a new one,take it off and see if it will start.

If you are sure that it screws on it may be a reverse threaded unit..

Clean carburetor and make sure gas is new.

check to see if there is any holes in top or bottom of bar to grease or oil, if not there should be screws on bar to remove cover to gain access to blades, also on bottom of engine there is a cover useully with 2-3 screws holding it in. remove cover to grease gear mechanism, do not remove gears inside.

No. That is not to say that you can not try to modify the Stihl system to work with the expand-it system but it will not work out of the box

pull the shat off the engine and check the inner shaft it sounds like its stripped or the theengine side is cracked hope this helps
