SOURCE: water not going through spray arms

Have same problem except big motor spins independent of stripped? impeller. tried to reassemble but seems mechanical or adhesive agent misssing from one shaft or the other and the motor spins the impeller (now tight) only to have it slip off again and stop pumping water.

SOURCE: I have a Frigidaire Ultra

I may have the answer. I had what sounded to be the same problem. I found the dishes were dirty after they were cleaned, but I found there may have been a big pot lid blocking the upper arm. I decided to run the machine again, and after a bit opened the dishwasher after to make sure it was not a problem with the arm. Sure enough, the arm wasn't moving. However, I found out on the Frigidaire webpage that some models have an alternating spray cycle, where only one arm spins at any given time. After reading this I checked again, and it had moved by that time. I checked a few times more to confirm this. So it ended up it was an arm blockage after all. Hope this helped...good luck.

SOURCE: frigidaire fdb949gf dishwasher won't spray water from arms

I found on my first dishwasher the arm holes were plugged. I had to clean out each and every hole with a small wire. They would not even turn until I cleaned them God luck.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dishwasher - Spray Arm Not Working

When a dishwasher has been checked for obstructions in the sump area and the spray arms can spin easily (by hand) plus the spray arm holes are not blocked, you end up with either a broken impeller or a failing wash pump motor.

Dishes are not getting clean. Dishwasher does not take off the smallest speck of food. Hot water works. Cycles sound the same

There could be a couple of things that might be affecting the cleaning ability of your dishwasher.
First, there is a pipe/tube that runs up the back of the inside of your dishwasher. This provides water for the top spray arm. The spray arm has a feeder tube that covers the pipe in the back. If for some reason the feeder tube has come dislodged, the water just drips back down into the dishwasher, never touching your upper shelf. My children used to put large items into the lower shelf and in so doing, would dislodge the upper spray arm feeder tube. Just pull out the upper shelf and check to see that the tube is in the correct position. This should solve the problem.

If not, it could be that the upper or lower spray arms may have debris that keeps the water from being forced through the jets. You'll need to flush the arm with the spray attachment on your kitchen sink. I sometimes use tweezers or a toothpick to dislodge bits of peelings, paper, or bone that manage to get into the sprayer arm.
I hope one of these tips helps. If it does, please come back to fixya and rate my answer.
