Suggest reviewing the instructions. It's possible it is not being installed correctly. There is usually a "C" hook that needs to be fit around the needle screw in order to operate. Also, periodically a little drop of oil needs to be placed where metal rubs against metal to keep it operating smoothly.
Make sure brace that holds hook is locked, bobbin is pushed in til you hear it click and hand turn machine and if you hear it hit any metal, machine timing is out, let me know...thanks
Hi Bob: I believe the metal hook you are referring to may be the kneading blade. The kneading blade is attached to the spindle at the bottom of the bread pan before begining to add your ingredeints.
i think your talking about the motor spindel,,(the little metal bit?) if the motor is that hot its going to burn out soon, check that the brush is free to turn if its tight free it off its full of grit or fluff also check that the motor turns freely
Door panels are about the same they have always been.
You first remove the things attached, like handles, etc.
Most have screws, either recessed or covered by plastic plugs.
Door handle may have spring clip that requires a hook or special tool for, but you can improvise. Just push panel in to get a better look around handle shaft.
Once you have all the extra stuff off, then pop all the little plactic or metal clips around the front, back and bottom edges. It helps to use something a little wide, to not scratch or break panel. Each clip snaps into hole.
But the top is different, and hooks over the metal door inner shell. It has to be lifted upwards, after unscrewing door lock button, if there is one. The bottom of the panel has to be held out enough to clear handle shafts as you lift up.
Hi,
The Black wire is the Hot or positive wire and the White wire is the nuetral or negative wire.
The green wire gets hooked to the frame or any metal part of the dishwasher...usually there is a green screw inside the little box where the wires hook up
Jimmy the door back and forth, up and down until you get it out. Carefully. Two people helps. There are two metal hooks at the bottom left and corners. The upper one hangs up on a "catch" inside the slot, and you just need to navigate that. Carefully. We had one side come unlatched so needed to be careful not to pull that side out too far to cause too much torque. You'll get it. Once the door is out, grab a phillips screwdriver. Look for a thin rectangular white piece of plastic (one in each corner, about 4" x 5") that covers the hinges on each side. Unscrew the upper and lower outside screws on that. Take it off. May need to pour warm water on it if it is iced on. It may be taped on but it comes off. Now you can access the "hooks" better. Have someone hold the door steady (in upright position). Pull the upper hook down (takes a little strength) and then pivot the weird little piece of metal on the lower hook until it fits into the upper hook (temporarily latching them together). Repeat for other side. Then carefully lift the door into place and slide both "latched" hooks into the interior slots. Helps to have two here. The drawer needs to be out so you can access the hooks and slots. Once the hooks are in the slots, grab that phillips again. Have someone hold a little pressure on the door to keep it in place, and gently pry the weird little pivoting metal piece away from the upper hook with the phillips. Repeat for the other side. Now push the door into place carefully. Hopefully it will latch up the way it is supposed to on both sides and you will have your freezer (and happy wife) back. Happy wife, happy life! Good luck!
