I'd try putting your Windows 7 install disc in and rebooting. I'd try a repair first to save my data, but a fresh install would be cleaner. It has happened before that your master boot record has been corrupted and it won't boot. You should google "win 7 mbr repair" and see if there is a way to do it in 7. I don't use 7 because it is limited compared to the version I use. A fresh install will fix your MBR.
Yes you can. But before you do this make sure you have back ups of your important data.
Just inser the windows 7 disk and windows should detect the cd and ask you to press any key to boot from cd. Press any key to continue with the installation.
If ever the machine doens't load the disk first, go into bios (usually by pressing Del) and change the boot sequence there, making sure it starts with the dvd/cd first.
Once this is done, just follow the onscreen instruction to install windows 7. I suggest you choose a fresh install rather than upgrade.
hi since u have tried many ways but 1 way i suggest u is when u switch on ur system press F8 and selct my most recent settings that worked fine and insert the new CD and in the autoplay option note down the CD key in some paper and u will see install windows 7 and install ur fresh copy was this useful if yes pls rate my solution

First Off, you can't jump from XP to Windows 7 without a Complete Fresh Install of 7... Second, you will need the XP cd to boot the XP machine, not a windows 7 backup.. You can however use an OEM windows 7 disk to boot the XP machine, though it won't upgrade..
probley computer crash ,dont say what system you using try getting a onther copy of windows opeting system put in you cd drive and should pick it up, if not go into boot sequence in bios and d-drive your boot up first it should give you fresh operating system and maual load the drivers for your hardware manual if it has picked up
