1) Go into the settings menu, go to FM settings, and make sure the FM Region is set for United States. If you are outside the US, change it to "World"
2) The radio might initially be set for Pause - to test this, turn to a specific radio station that you know you get, and press up on the clickwheel. The "block" icon underneath the radio station should now change to a play arrow, if indeed it was on pause.

How do i program the radio

Click below for the manual.

manual

1 Select the radio band and tune in a desired radio

station you wish to store in the preset memory.

2 Press (PRESET).

The Preset screen is displayed.

3 Rotate the Double Action encoder to select the

preset number.

4 Press and hold /ENTER for at least 2 seconds.

The selected station is stored.

The display shows the band, preset number and station

A total of 18 stations can be stored in the preset memory (6 stations

LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH

It was your setting. You can change it to english.
For sansa clip:
1. From main menu, select settings (picture with 4 bars)
2. Use up/down button to find " FM...", the language option is right about FM..., select it and use up / down button to find English.
3. Press home button to come back main menu
Good luck
For sansa clip plus:
1. the same as about.
2. Getting into Settings, you have 4 options (Music, Audiobook, Radio, and System Settings). Languages with letters (a, b, c, ....), you can see "Radio...." option, move the selection bar down 1 - it is System Settings. If Languages without letters a, b, c, ...., you have to get in to each option, at each option you move the selection bar down or up to find letters " USB...." , it means you are inside System Settings, from USB, press down button 6 times, and select it (language option), scroll up/ down to select English.
3. The same
Good luck

FM tuner?

Separate product - listening to mp3's through your car radio is the most complicated and most expensive option; cheapest is a casette adapter if your car has a casette player, or a cd adapter for cd player - one end will plug into headphone jack of Sansa player. Best Buy has the widest selection of adapters. I would get the type of adapter that plugs into the headset - wired. Wireless adapters are "neat," but unreliable (and expensive).
