Bought a DLINK router and DAP 1360 Access Point. Intention was to extend the wireless access of the internet from the router about 90 meters away. UTP connectors were configured as straight thru and were tested okay. DAP 1360 can't detect router. I prior tested the DAP 1360 near the router and it functioned well.

Some laptops come with a button\switch or use key combination to turn on or off the wireless(to conserve power)! Refer to your user manual for exact instructions! If that didn't solve the situation then it could be your actual wireless card within the laptop is giving trouble! regards, babb

I think I was having a similar problem with my DAP-1522 ... FW Version 1.10 being used as an access point. I recently discovered that I was not able to connect to the configuration pages using a web browser by typing in it's IP address (192.168.0.50). When I originally set this up device up on my network, it worked just fine, but at some point in time, it stopped working. My solution to this problem was to set the switch on the back of the 1522 from Auto to AP, then re-boot the DAP-1522 by removing power, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging power back in. Once the AP re-booted, I was then able to access the configuration login page by typing 192.168.0.50 into my browser. My DAP-1522 access point is connected via port 1 to my D-link router, a DGL-4100, via a DGS-2208, 8 port gigabit switch. Hope this helps!
