It has been installing for 5 minutes, and hasn't advanced past 30%. It says it still has 8 minutes to go. There is a flashing CD icon with a question mark over it flashing in the upper left corner of the screen.
You should restart the system and try it again
Deleted the mgs4 installation and start again also go to ps3 setting and restore defaul settings for ps3

I tried restarting and realized that my 80 gb hard drive was full. I then installed the game with no problem. I watched the opening scene in the game and when it gave me control of the character I crawled under a truck (as the game sugested), the screen went black and the flashing CD symbol with a question mark appeared flashing in the upper left corner of the screen. I had to shut the unit off after it beeped at me (I think 3 times).
This is weird. Should a PS3 have trouble with PS3 games?
My game loaded to 75% and has now got a disc icon in the left top corner and a question mark over it, and hasn't budged
