I used my Magellwn Roadmate today was working just fine, turned it off returned to my car 2hrs. later and it won't turn on?
How can I get it to go back on again?
THere is nothing wrong with it. On the left side of the unit pull up the rubber cover. You will see a very small switch and a button above it or below it.
With a a pen slid the switch, and push the re set button. Then slid the switch back. and turn on the unit the way you normally do. If it doesn't light up
either you did it wrong, the unit is discharged, or there is something wrong with it. If nothing works call Magellan and if it is still under service, they will help you. Good luck to you.

there is no side rubber cover on the roadmate 2036. There is nothing but where to put the power cord.!
Some of the models hace a small hole on back near usb . Use a paperclip to reset

I have the same problem. I charged it the night before, turned it off during the the night and it wouldn't turn back on in the morning when I needed to use it.
When I tried to turn my GPS on it didn`t work.
