Ipod nano 8gb and JBL on stage II

The only way I can get my ipod nano 8gb to work with the JBL on stage II is through the aux. input. It says that all ipods are supported except the shuffle, but when I plug in my ipod into the top, nothing happens. When I plug it into the auxillary input, everything works including the remote???

SOURCE: I want my ipod to charged without my computer

What you need is the wallwart that (Sometimes) comes with the iPod. that way you can charge it without connecting to the computer, Check the iPod shop for one or there are some generic ones available on google shopping.

SOURCE: My iPod nano 8 gig will not charge on JBL On Time

Unfortunately for some reason this model is compatible with the classic ipod, but not the nano 4g. The Nano 4g is the longer skinny metallic one, the latest and greatest (which it sounds like is what you have). So sorry about this, I don't know why that would be, it must have been produced right as they were finalizing the standard for the nano 4g.

Nano not compatible with On Stage

It will actually work, however, you will not be able to dock the iPod® Nano into the JBL On Stage™. You can connect the audio in cable to the headphone jack of your iPod. That's the only way, hope this helps. Pls rate solution. Thanks!!

No picture on television when connecting s-video outlet from JBL radial and showing a film or pictures on a docked i-pod touch.

Hi, I have this problem and when I spoke to JBL techical support they told me that Apple have changed their software on the New Nano and the ipod touch and of course the iphone and regrettably the radial does not support S video for these products. I'm told it will work with first generation ipod classics. PS: i had to carefully cut off some of the plastic plug to make sure the connection goes all the way into the back of the radial

JBL on stage micro will not charge my ipod any more. It plays songs fine from the ipod but for some reason is not charging it. Any suggestions?

The JBL Onstage Micro is supposed to disable recharging of the iPod when running off AAA batteries to avoid draining them, but sometimes this setting gets stuck even when the unit is plugged in through the AC adaptor. The workaround that I found is pulling out and reconnecting the iPod to the Onstage Micro (while both are powered on) and then unplugging and reconnecting the AC adaptor. Sometimes you have to repeat this process, but the iPod should start recharging after that. I tried it on the new 5th generation nano and this seems to work.

Ipod adapter clear

Sorry, it 'WILL NOT' charge a 4G Nano on this Dock no matter which adapter you use!!

Clear Adapters have small numbers on them which relate to different iPods - A reference sheet relating to these numbers is enclosed with the Adapter Pack!

Compatability with 4th gen nano

I have had exactly the same problem having bought a JBL Radial Micro for my partner for Xmas for use with the Ipod Nano, i contacted JBL via their website and was advised to contact Harmen on 01707278100. I was advised that the new ipod nano (chromatic) would not charge on the JBL radial micro. They stated that this was due to Apple changing the charging pin in the new nano. I have since bought a JBL Stage III. I contacted Harmen before buying this and was advised that the Stage II would not work. Hope that this is of use.

Adapter

I have the same model, just pry it out with a small screwdriver, on the back half of the size adaptor.
