SOURCE: I have a Brother SE-270D

its the problem of the timing belt in your machine its extra loosen or extra tightned or is slightly came out of its position or finally broken.
as the machine is proper just missing the proper speed as it should be .
it is running continuosly as you stated.
check the timing belt and make it proper if its worn out and needs replacement this is how its done

There is an adjusting screw on the right side of the machine head. Follow the motor bracket to the machine head and loosen that big old screw or bolt which will raise or lower the motor giving you slack to remove or replace the belt.

feel free for further queries
thanks

SOURCE: bobbin thread/feed dog eating fabric

This is a very common problem with really lightweight fabric and can often be cured (if doing straight stitching) by using a straight stitch needle plate and foot. The wider needle plate and foot openings on newer machines give the machine/thread a wider area to pull the fabric into the machine. By using a straight stitch plate/foot you remove the wide opening, eliminating the majority of the problem.

Also - try using a specially coated needle (Teflon or other non-stick finish). The thread feeds more smoothly through the needle and the needle more smoothly through the fabric, causing less drag into the needle plate opening.

Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to respond to this if you have further specific questions. We're always happy to help

SOURCE: thread jams & wheel axel cannot turn

there are a couple of things that come to mind.
Bobbin:   wound with uneven tension.  Try taking the bobbin, rewind that thread onto another bobbin and wind slowly.  make sure the thread feeds onto the new bobbin evenly.
upper thread:  catching on something or not flowing off the spool easily.
you're doing well, sounds like you consulted the manual and used your noggin, hang in there and let me know if this doesn't help.  we can troubleshoot some more!

Properly thread the machine on the top, and make sure the bobbin is inserted into the bobbin case spinning the correct direction.

Won't catch bobbin thread

In order to see whether or not my euro-pro 9110 had a timing issue, the service rep had me change out the needle (making sure I was using anything but a Singer brand needle--they do not work in these machines). I re-threaded the needle, took out the bobbin casing and the plastic ring encasing the bobbin, then lowered the needle to see if the hook on the metal ring holding the bobbin actually catches the thread on its own. If it doesn't catch, it's a timing issue and needs repair. They can walk you through this process of troubleshooting and set up repair if need. THREAD BUNCHING UP

there should be a small flat screw on the bobbin case that needs to be adjusted - turn to the left very slightly to weaken or lessen the tension and turn to the right very slightly to strengthen or tighten the tension. there may be two little screws in the same place - on my bobbin case, the screw to turn is the bigger one and is closer to the thread opening. hope this helps!
