check and make sure the bobbin winder has returned to it's normal position for when you sew

First check that the thread in the bobbin is facinf the correct way. Then check tension on top. Also check to see if you have the same thread on top and in bobbin. Also needle and material can cause the bobbin to jump. Make siure that the needle thread stays where it should, if one of the threading sites come undone this can cause bobbin jump too.Hope something here helps.:-)

Check to be sure your bobbin is in correctly. so turn clockwise, others counterclockwise.

If you can turn the machine then I would say you probably need a new foot controller. Otherwise maybe something is caught in the machine.

Could be you are using the wrong needle. If it is too short it will not pick up the bobbin thread. Or your machine could be out of time.

Slide of the the little table with the accessories in.There is a feed dog adjustment lever at the back of the machine. sliding the lever to the 2 filled in arrows pointing down, will lower them and the 2 filled in arrows pointing up will raise them. The feed dogs will not rise up if you do not turn the hand wheel manually, even if the lever is slid to the right.You must make a complete turn of the wheel to raise the feed dogs. Best wishes.

There is a screw that holdsthe linkage together that rotates the bobbin holder, that screw might beloose. To replace it requires taking both the front and back covers off of theframe since the bobbin holder linkage is in the rear behind the needle area. Becareful to insure that the plastic toothed "rail" that runs thebobbin holder is positioned properly or it may break off a tooth. Once you replace it, it will catch the threadagain. AV

check to make sure the foot pedal is plugged into the machine correctlyalso the foot pedal may need to be checked at a sewing machine repair shop to see if there is something wrong with the wiring or electronics.
