How do i reset a trip lite omni900lcd ups? - Tripp Lite OMNI900LCD 900VA OMNI AVR LCD UPS SySTEM

if your model has a mute/test button, please press this for 3 or 4 seconds to stop the beep. The beep usually indicates an approaching power shutdown of the device and allows you to save any files that are currently in use prior to this shutdown.

Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage but you need to put some resistance across it to see if the voltage holds under load or rolls off due to high internal resistance of bad battery.

LOOSE CONTACT CHECK SWITCH TERMINALS

Replace the battery.

1. Turn the key to "on" so the electrical system is fired up (but engine is not running)

2. Set trip planner to "A" trip.

3. Turn key off (no electrical)

4. Hold down trip planner button, then turn key "on" so the electrical system is fired up (but engine is not running).

5. "Maint Req" light will blink several times then go off.

There are 2 (very deep) screw holes at the back of the UPS, but you'll need a long (8"+) philips screwdriver to access them.

I would not bother, just call the dealer and get a new one under warranty.

Install remote/key into socket.  Push and hold trip button on instrument cluster with all doors shut.  Push start button one time for key position one while holding trip button and count to five.  keep holding trip button and hit start button to key position two where all the warning lites come on the instrument cluster while still holding trip button.  Count to around ten and triangular warning lite should flash. Release button and remove key and then start engine.  May take a few attempts to reset this lite.  

OK ON YOUR SPEEDOMETER, THERES TRIP A, TRIP B, AND THE REGULAR ODMO... U NEED TO PUT IT ON TRIP A (WITH THE KEY OFF) ONCE U GET IN ON TRIP A, PUSH AND HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN,WHILE HOLDING BUTTON DOWN TURN KEY ON, YOU WILL SEE LINES POP UP ON THE ODOMETER, (WHERE THE MILES ARE DISPLAYED) THEY WILL GO OUT ONE BY ONE, ONCE IT STATES 0 YOU ARE GOOD TO GO..
