Not really sure on that one but on most first you will need to remove screw around handle that opens the door that needs to be removed. also should be screws underneth handle that pulls door shut that you will have to remove and in some cases . check around edge of door panal for more screws and if found remove them also. once all screws are removed you will need to pry on door panal slightly because there are clips behind panal holding it on. in alot of cases the clips break when removing panal but dont worry the can be bought at your local auto parts store and are very easy to replace. I usually use something flat like a small stiff putty knife to help pry door panal lose. this helps insure that you dont break of crack the panal. after all clips are off simply unplug wire connections and door handle linkage and your done. .....hope this helps and good luck

SOURCE: remove door panel

Remove the screws and lift up. There aren't any screws behind the window switch, it is screwed on from behind. There is a hidden screw behind the lock slider.

SOURCE: Im trying to get the door panels off my 1999

There are a few screws which need to be removed, one under the map compartment (bottom of door ) one behind cover at door handle, once these are removed pry door panel out from the bottom up removing it from the clips, once this is complete lift up and remove entire panels off lip at top

SOURCE: need to remove inside door panel on drivers side

just pop out the triangle piece from the top at the top front of the door panel with a flat head screwdriver. Then simply pop out the door lock cover from the aft side and the door handle cover from the aft side as well. Then pop up your cap containing the auto door locks and windows and disconnect the cannon plugs. Then just remove 2 screws (1 from under the door lock/window cap and one just insde the door handle itself. You'll then life up and towards you to remove the panel. Don't pull it too far out because you'll still need to disconnect the speaker cannon plug and pull out the door open light at the bottom aft of the panel. You can then set the door panel off to the side.

SOURCE: no power to passenger door window or lock, drivers

I know this sounds strange but I believe the problem is in the drivers door. This is where the master switch is and controls the other doors. Have it tested or replaced. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Drivers side power window and power mirrors do not work

More than likely it is in the switch panal on driver side. Dont think it would be a fuse because if it was none of the windows would work. It could be just a lose connection

1999 chevy silver ado passenger side power window wont go up it does have power

Remove the two armrest screws, slide the armrest towards the back of the door to remove.Remove the "triangle" cover that covers the standard mirror attachment screws.Use a small screwdriver to pop the clips on the window switch, and unplug it.I believe the rest of the panel is just secured with clips(I replaced the inside driver door handle on my work truck with my own home made steel replacement handle recently, but it has manual windows)

Is there any special tools or requirements for removing and installing a new exterior (drivers side) door handle. Please describe the process. Thank you.

nope, just wind the window down, remove screws around the arm rest, pull panel out from door releasing plastic retainers, slide panel up out of window seal, remove plastic door dust shield , wind window up and you will be able to access handle through the inside of door, remove latch rod clip from handle, remove two bolts that screw to handle and thats it. Of course replace in opposite procedure

I have a 1997 silverado 1500 5.7 350 all power, the inside door latch broke and I have to roll down the drivers side window and open it from the outside latch. I got a replacement latch but have never taken...

Google door panel removal tools and you will see items that look like small crowbars. They slide between the panel and the metal and pry the fastener out of the metal. You can also watch videos on the process on you tube.

Need to replace drivers side power mirror on 1999

Remove that plastic piece at the top of the door panel, ( it just unsnaps straight out), use a small screwdriver or putty knife to help pry it up, it's held in place by plastic clips so be gentle.
Unplug the connector from the mirror,
Remove the nuts and the mirror assembly will come off, don't let it fall.
Installation is the reverse.
