How do i format my memory card to my kodak EasyShare c300 digital camera ?

Chose the format command from configuaration menu, here is the icon for the format menu:

On format Chose format memory card.

It explains in detail how to format the SD card, using the Setup menu.

What size is your SDXC Card? The maximum supported it 2 Gb. It can't handle more than that and won't format.

  • CD43: xD memory cards only
  • All other C-Series Cameras: SDHC and SDHC UHS-1 memory cards up to 32 GB

Check your card isn't set to write protect then try re-formatting again in the camera, if it still doesn't work, try another card. The card you're using could be faulty.

The spec for the SD card format is going to 2GB but the Kodak C330 not compatible with 2 GB SD memory cards.

Wont accept a new 2GB memory card, its saying memory full.

Unfortunately, this camera will only accept up to a maximum of 1GB for a memory card.

So you will need to use a smaller memory card.

It's not in the documentation, but it should be.

Memory Card Requires Formatting

Hey B418,
Formatting will delete all your pictures on your camera or memory card. The camera might be prompting you to format because the the camera's memory is full. To avoid losing your pictures I would connect your camera to a computer, download your images to your computer first, and then format the memory.

this cam will work up to 2gb sd/mmc

what's the capacity of your card? if it's above that, it's really not gonna work with this cam

if your card is 2gb or lower
2 possibilities:
defective card - please try another card
camera memory reading problem - arrange repairs with kodak
