My rca screen has 'mono' and no audio what should i do

Go buy a splitter. Lower end head units do this to save money. The norm is that subwoofers run in mono anyway, so they give you a mono output. You never really see subwoofers running in stereo. That means left and right channels on the amp are playing two different signals. You usually bridge a sub, so your getting the same signal out of the left and right channel. Doesn't really hurt anything. Maybe just a extra connector and a small voltage drop due to the extra connection.

It sounds like you've read one of my many posts on 901 deployment in the AV world.

Functionally, what is the difference between one amp with 'x' channels or 'x' mono amps? Nothing. Pre-outs don't know or care what else an external amp does.

According to this link http://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/products/new/642968.html those amps are 2- and 5-channel, respectively.

There was a time when I had two bridged-mono Carver Cube atmps (at a real 400 watts) pushing one 901 each but that was big time overkill.

I now use a Carver AV-406 (functionally the same as your MM7055) with the 901 EQ in between the AV Receiver's front pre-outs and two 110-watt channels. Other channels on the AV-406 pull subwoofer and surround back duties. My AVR directly powers only the center and surround speakers.

The MM7025 would work for you.

It goes between the source and the amplifier , I don't know if it will work with guitar pickups, but no harm in trying. Also designed for stereo, but you could try dual mono I suppose. Not sure if that will work either but here are the instructions. You will need 2 mono female Jack to male RCA and 2 mono female RCA to male Jack adapters, (unless your guitar output is stereo in which case you will need 1 stereo Jack to 2 RCA etc. Good luck, it might work but I don't think it was designed for the use you have in mind. Will you let us know how you get on?

Sorry but when a amp is fryed its done for. Looks like you will have to replace it.

The cable you are using is a rca audio/video cable. The colors translate to:

• red=audio,right
• white=audio,left
• yellow=composite video

Your laptop headphone input uses a ⅛′ (3.5 mm) mono and stereo (TRS).

You need a Stereo 3.5mm mini phone plug male to 2 RCA female connectors.

This one Wire should be for the +. Try connecting the + to the Head Unit and - to a Common Ground. At the Worst, You will Blow the Amp Fuse if not Correct. The Lead from the Head Unit is Only an Off and On from the Ignition. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

• Make sure that you have connected the cable box properly to the TV.
• Use the audio and video OUT from the box to the TV IN.
• Select the correct input on the TV.
• Connect it using any of the following: A HDMI cable (1 cable for both audio and video), Component Cables (3 RCA's red, green, blue) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), S-Video + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo), or AV cables - 1 RCA for video (usually marked yellow) + RCA audio cables (1 for mono or 2 for stereo).
