New spark plugs turns over fires alittle wont start
Sounds like either your fuel pump has gone out or engine has possibly skipped some teeth on the timing chain. make sure u have fuel pressure going into throttle body assy or if you have good hearing, you should be able to hear the fuel pump running for about 5 sec if u just tap the starter. also need to make sure youve got no water in the tank, so the easiest thing for u to check on your own would be to cut off the hose clamp at fuel rail and put the hose into a clear glass jar and tap starter. if it fills up then its probably not a pump, but if the fuel looks cloudy then you got water on there.

you may have something clogged in a water passage but more than likley u have a bad sensor the sensor is located on the main exhuast if you go on the right side of the ski and look in the engine compartment it will be located at 9 oclock u will see it sticking out of the exhuast with one wire comming out after u run the ski and the buzzer goes off pull the seat and see if the engine is really hot if u can not touch it will be hot but it has to be very hot for the sensor to pick it up if u can touch the motor and exhuast it is a bad sensor

When replacing battery in yamaha GP1200 when attach negative cable the unit seems as wants to turn over the engine while the unit is off and no key in place.. also notice in seconds that the battery terminal on negative side started smoking..actually melt the new battery terminal on negative side..yes, postive was connected to positive. Any ideas what why this would take place??
