Does it not close or does it not lock? If it does not lock it may be the light seals are obstructing the door. If it will close but not lock open the camera, pull up the rewind knob, see if the release slider is operating.more related details please refer to AmanStino Ultra Slim 4 Port USB 3 0 Data Hub white AmanStino

I have a Pentax ME super and the film door will close when there is no film but when i load it with film its not closing properly?

I really loved your camera type though it was 35 years ago I had one. I envy you.

Not sure why you should be having trouble unless you have a bad film. Have you tried more than one film?

If the film cassette has dropped in properly and is laying flat, the film rewind has to be raised, I think, to allow that and the sprocket holes in the film are properly engaged with the sprockets and the free end of the film engaged onto the film wind-on reel then everything should be well below the door aperture.

I would wind on maybe a frame and fire the shutter prior to closing the film door just to observe everything moving as it should and then close the door.
The last quarter inch the door must be closed against the pressure of a spring but if the little spring-loaded device behind the door which is intended to keep the film perfectly flat against the camera body is working correctly only a light pressure will be needed to compress those springs and close the door.
Perhaps something is wrong there?

I don't remember any problems closing the film door.
I hope this helps but if it doesn't please come back again and describe your actions and the feel of the door more fully.

My Ricoh KR-5 won't keep the film door closed. How

The film doors in most 35mm SLR's is spring loaded with a release from the rewind knob. Chances are your spring has lost tension, slipped out of place, or the teeth that grab the door have been damaged. You can always use the handyman's secret weapon (duct tape) to fix the problem, but if you're looking for a more permanent and less gooey and unattractive solution you're going to need to find a shop.

If there aren't any locally, you can find some online, or google KEH Camera if you're not sure who online is reputable. It'll run you $35 for a repair estimate which is waived if you decide to have the work done. Keep in mind some parts, for some cameras, are hard or impossible to come by so your model may or may not be able to be repaired, or may be priced outside of what you're willing to pay to have repaired.

Where and how do you insert film on a minolta vectis 2000 camera

Essentially, you probably don't as APS film is no longer made and is getting difficult to get processed if you do get some old stock.

But like on all APS cameras, there's a lock on one end of the camera and usually you turn it to open a small door on the bottom of the camera. The APS film cassette gets pushed into the compartment and when you close the door and the camera *should* wind the film ready for shooting and lock the door so that you cannot open it until the film is rewound. The cameras are entirely battery dependent and many used CR2 lithium batteries which are disproportionately expensive and hard to find except from online suppliers.

Unfortunately APS was a badly engineered system from the start, so the cameras didn't tend to last long before suffering major faults. You may wish to bear that fact in mind as those faults won't show until you load a film and any film you do find will likely cost more than you can buy another APS camera for. They're widely available for free or for about a £ or two from almost any charity shop (not from the one I work in though as I always put them straight into the recycling bin as they're a liability).

N80 , frame number blinks, won't advance

According to the manual, the only time the frame counter blinks, is when the back is open or partially open when attempting to rewind film. Push on the back to be sure it's properly snapped closed to see if that solves the issue.

I have no idea how to put my film in the "Pentax mz-m" camera? Someone help me. I'm new to this as I am just doing photography at school!

Pull up on the rewind knob ( left side ) to open the film door. put film cassette in chamber then lower rewind knob and pull enough film leader to the take up spool. attach film to spool. close the film door then advance the film to #1 on the counter.

Can't load the film

Turn the camera on. Open the back. Insert film, pull it across to the red mark. Close the back.

Camera should load automatically.

Fuji 35mm Camera (Model DL-400)

Dawn

remove the battery and check that it is good. replace battery and open back door, close the door and it should run the motor / transport. if so, load film up to the drive sprocket being sure film will catch on the sprocket.
or move the latch holding back cover, and open the door fully. check the pressure plate on the door, gently pull the plate up a little to increase pressure on the film. bring the holding lever out toward the latch and close the door to lock the lever back to position.
