General Operating System Information

On Windows computers, Samsung MP3 players require at least Windows XP
Service Pack 2. If you have an older operating system such as Windows
2000 or Windows 98, your computer won't recognize your player until you
upgrade your PC to at least Windows XP Service Pack 2.
If your PC is running Linux or MAC, it will not recognize some MP3
players that support only MTP mode. However, it will recognize players
that support UMS mode and list them as mass storage devices.
The following Samsung MP3 players support UMS: YP-U1, YP-U2, YP-U3,
YP-U4, YP-U5, and YP-S2.
The following Samsung MP3 players support both MTP and UMS mode: YP-Z5
and YP-P3.
Windows Vista may fail to detect you device if the player is not
connected properly, Windows Media Player is not installed or has become
corrupted, Vista is unable to install the MTP drivers, or the MTP patch
is not installed.

1. Connect phone to PC
2. Run Samsung PC Studio if not running
3. Open file manager (Click "Manage Files")
4. Copy .jad and .jar to "Other Files" folder on phone. (You can download these files from our website)
5. Disconnect phone and go to "Other Files", run .jad file to install and run the application.

first off when downloading stuff to sony mp3 i have the same one you have to manual transfer also what kind of computer do you have. that would help me help you.if you have a mac then i cant but pc i can. Here is what i do first open computer icon, then click on on ur device it should open with how much free space is left then click it again a bunch of folders will open up. the drag the file you want to the correct folder. thats how i have to put vids and music on it espcial if you want acc file formate music.also what type of file is it music vid of docement. plz tell me then i can better under stand ur request.

The UMS trick will also allow you to use your H10 with virtually any OS.
For 5/6 GB MTP Models

• Make sure your H10 is turned off and disconnected from the computer.
• Take out the battery, wait a second, and put the battery back in.
• Turn on the hold switch (so that you don't accidentally turn the H10 on all the way).
• Plug the H10 into your computer.
• Turn on the H10 while holding the "O" button.
• You will see the message "UMS Mode" if you have done everything correctly. You can now let go of the "O" button.

For 20 GB MTP Models

• Make sure your H10 is turned off and disconnected from the computer.
• Poke the "reset" button with a paperclip.
• Turn on the hold switch (so that you don't accidentally turn the H10 on all the way).
• Plug the H10 into your computer.
• Turn on the H10 while holding the "O" button.
• You will see the message "Emergency Connection" if you have done everything correctly. You can now let go of the "O" button.

For UMS Models UMS models do not need this trick because they are always in UMS mode!

try opening it up in mtp mode going to the folder photo or opening it up msc mode show hidden files and to the folder photo

Yes easy fixed. Open from my computer then go into folders options and click on show hidden folders option, your system folder should show up then open that folder and youll see the vbs file. Delete it, and all is good !
