Depending on machine model and sn you need to order the fuel gauge repair kit from a distributor. It will have all of the parts needed and instructions on the removal and installation of the new part. This is a commom problem that we are seeing with the Bobcat and Trailblazers. What would cause a gasoline odor when I'm driving? No visible leaks and not overfilling the tank.
Could be anything. Bad gas cap, evaporation canister bad, bad hose, engine running rich etc. No way to give you an accurate diagnosis simply too many possibilities.

Lpg converted engine wont run using lpg without gasoline in tank
It is normal. All LPG converted engines start with gasoline. Then when they reach 2000 rpm move on LPG system.
If you want to start directly with LPG must call a professional to modify your installation.

1999Jeep cherokee leaking gasoline from top of the tank
From what I can uderstand, the leak is coming from where the filller neck attaches to the tank. If this is the case there should be a clamp that should be tightened. This should turn off the engine light. If engine light is still on check for a leak in the cap.
Other wise do not over fill the tank for fire issues.

There has to be a leak some place. Check around the carburetor connections and all the hoses. Even the tank itself. It may not be a large leak but check for a gassy dampness . I have seen the carb where it is put together have a leak also.

Leaking gasoline from gas tank after being driven the gas tank is not full and it stops when I relieve the pressure by opening gas cap.
there are allot of hioses and connections to these tanks that can be leaking, the leak in almost always on the top of the tank, u are going to have to get under the car and look for gasoline stains from the leak, if the gas stains go up and over the top of the tank then the tank must come out fro repair.
