Need sound card driver

HI,
Download and install multimedia( audio & video ) drivers for your Motherboard.
You forgot to tell us your boards brand and model.
Go to manufacturer of your Motherboard, in the customer support category, download the media driver in the XP operating system.
Unzip it when you finish downloading and it will be automatically detected by your computer.

Go here and download the appropriate driver for your Operating System (XP, Vista, Windows 7, etc)

Be sure to download the appropriate version (i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit)

You may have to uninstall the current driver and then load the on you have downloaded./

If you have a plug-in sound card, you will have to go to the website of the sound card manufacturer to see if they have a driver for your model sound card that you can download and install.

If your sound card is built into your motherboard go to the website of either the manufacturer of the PC or the motherboard and see it they have a driver for Vista.

If you canot locate a driver, you can buy and install a plug in sound card. Just make sure it is compatible with Vista. You can buy them for less than $10.00 from places like http://www.tigerdirect.com.

try reinstalling the driver. maybe it is corrupted.

If you have lost your sound card, then you will have to buy a new sound card. But I beleive you have lost your sound driver rather than card, if so then please visit the following link to install the audio drivers.

Most drivers are available at Acers support website for free, if this sound card is an integrated part of the motherboard. If this is an ad-in audio card that fits into a slot on the motherboard, then you will need to get the driver from the audio manufactures' website.
Drivers are usually listed by operating system, so make sure you know which one is your running on your computer so that you pick the correct download. please post again here if you have specific information you need help with. If you post your computer model number , operating system model & wether the soundcard is on the motherboard or an ADD-In card, I can find the downloads for you.

Do you mean the sound driver for the D300, or did you buy a separate sound card? How is it you don't have sound but you have everything else? The recovery disk for D300 should have the software drivers, that or go to intel's website.
