I have a 1996 wave raider with no crank, no power, no gauges

I have a 1996 Yamaha Waveraider 760 which was running perfectly 2 days ago. Today it will not crank, gauges totally dead, NOTHING works. Battery shows 12.7V. Tightened all connections to battery, but nothing at all. I pulled and replaced "key" several times. Any ideas?
