After you remove the rear white plastic legs in the bottom of the machine, you need to unscrew the bottom two screws with the appropriate star shaped screwdriver to remove the bottom plastic part. Then you need a long screwdriver with the same tip to reach the left and right screws that are visible deeper when you look inside. Remove the steam knob by pulling it off. Then remove the top black plastic part to reveal the mechanism. To do so unclutch that part by putting a flat screwdriver to the frond, left and right side of the slit that separates the coffee dripping plastic part with the top plastic part.

Krups Vivo 880. Steam wand is acting as a faucet

The steam valve is not closing. In such a case water finds an east exit from the machine where there is no back pressure.

Repair the steam valve.

Krups gusto 880 - My steam tap doen't pass the first sign to max.

Unless you are able to dismantle the unit and pull the tap to pieces to free it up you are going to be doomed. That part is part of the element assembly upper housing and it is obsolete according to Krups.
