Hi, I bought a new laptop, and i have a problem with sound, i cant watch movies properly and play some games, because its lagging, if i turn sound off, it runs perfectly, i've reinstalled even windows, then differrent windows - same proble, could u please help me

no computer stated, just LT. no OS stated, XP to W10.
there are like 33 years of LT. now. vast HP laptops. made.
2yo old can be, you bought it new, or is new to you but real old
only the model number puts age to it. (for sure)

slow PC, are they not all slow? (some say so,)

what video's DVD, saved MP4s, live streaming videos off the internet, like netfix. or what games, PC solitaire or $60 steam games
or a on line streaming game as seen on STEAM. (free)
we cant guess any of that nor what is BOTTLENECKED.

why? (clear no? lets even name it, Duke Nukem retro)
top reasons.
my guess the growling is inside the headphones and not the HDD crashing. (bad) if PC is new and SSD now's that time to say it

1: pc is slow, it was cheap and slow,.(upgrade time) gamers, nightmare...endless.....
2: pc is infected, as most are. reload windows (is it windoz?)(
3: pc has failing HDD.
4: PC is overheating.
5: worse there is always worse. (pretend long story here, endless)

Remove all cookies from your computer and try. If it is not working properly then go to the store from where you bought it supposed to be in warrantee period sellers will fix your problem if your laptop is in warrantee period.

TV needs thorough cleaning up and service.

pC come in submodels, mine has 6 processor choices, ram size and video GPU chips,. offered on one submodel.
we cant guess what PC you have, nor its upgrades

If XP it for sure is INFECTED, as ALL are now. XP is dead now.

are you running the original HP software?
that means not upgraded to w10.
nor using MS disks to install OS , only HP works right or f11 key

7. lags on DVD loaded local games?
8. lags only on steam games....
9. lags only on live web games
10. my guess is it lags from even just sounds. (even music online or off line, not just Video lag, as all on line videos can do.
11. even my netflix lags on my TV with 200mbs/ fiber. (and has nothing to do with my systems, its the internet or netflix caused.

The DPC spikes, my guess are software overload.

but this pc has no gigalan jack, oops, that be bad.

first try this on this old dog pc

in the start box. type, msconfig.
then see startup tab
then shut them all off for a test.
see if runs ok now.
why not show one example in detail that fails
show slow video link online. a youtube.
or better , name a game that runs slow or lags

1: HDD , folder. local.
2: CD/ or DVD drive.
3: online, games.

we cant guess what you do exactly so please say so.

is give it to GOODWILL (tm) then walk over to the newer Laptops
and get one with w7 or newer
and WIN !

sounds like you went from xp to vista...try installing a second partition with xp or win 7....vista has a known problem of doubling video memory in the system memory....so if your running vista on a laptop, you are straining the system from the get go
vista seems fast, for a little while

Yes, it requires flash player like adobe flash player to be able to play games, watch movies online, listen to movies and others. Just go to the adobe flash player website http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and click install to install it directly or go to www.youtube.com and he will ask that it needs flash player. Adobe flash download icon will appear or link will appear and just click the download link and it will directly installed it to your computer. That all and your problem it solve. Enjoy watching movies or listen songs if you want.

when you play the game turn your graphics down and it will play better like 1260x800 turn it down to 400x 600

Ok so its 60GB its definatly alright to play movies and all sorts, but if you are that desperate to watch movies then you may want to reset to factory settings just access settings and look for reset console, then it would start from square 1 you have to make your accounts and earn your trophies again but if you want to watch movies desperatly then recommed you do that or go to game settings in the game column and have a poke in the folders because there might be a few things in there or go to the film column and check for setting sin there or go to the settings column and check for film settings in there its nothing to do with the updates thats for sure because ive done the same as you but havent played the game in a while but im still able to watch films

This may not help, but you can try to lower the resloution to another widescreen format.
I'm thinking you may have your resolution maxed out and the video card is having problems with the movie games because of that. Possibly not enough video memory
Movies will work fine at lower resolutions, Not sure about all the games but they probably will too.

I'm sure you know you need the original remote if there is no menu on the front of the set. I suggest doing a search for customer support online for Sanyo products. There you will find contact numbers to see if one is available. Try "Sanyo remotes" on Google or Yahoo etc. Hope this helps
