All screen is red

I bought HCL4715W 6 years ago, and fixed convergence problem 2 years ago (I think replaced convergence IC). Few month ago, it starts showing colors redish. Now screen is all red, and I can not see anything but red screen. I wonder what is the problem and how I can fix.

I think I have the same problem. Tv works good with nice picture, but I am getting red flickering, and red horizontal flickering lines. Can someone give more detail on this

I think I have the same problem the other guest is having. Picture comes out fine, but I get flickering red horizontal lines on the screen. If I choose an input with no signal, ie. a turned off cable box, I still see the red flickering lines (even though it's just a black screen in the background). Any possible solution to this?

IF THE SCREEN IS ALL RED WITH VIDEO VISIBLE AND RETRACE LINES. ADJUST SCREEN CONTROL IN THE FRONT FOR THE RED TUBE ONLY. TURN CONTROL COUNTER CLOCKWISE. IF THAT DOESNT DO IT THE TUBE CAN BE REJUVINATED.

sounds like the convergence chip. i think you can get a kit from tvrepairkits.com not sure how much it would be to have fixed. But if your good with a soldering iron i think their kits come with instructions as well.

Try the following
1-unplug tv
2-remove bottom cover on tv
3-tap the power supply frame a few times (where the power cord enters the tv)
I had the blinking red light on my tv. I tried other solutions like removing the red wire a few times etc. Tapping the power supply frame solve the problem.
