HDCP is detected and therefore automatic. You can pass video and audio via HDMI without HDCP protection IF the video and audio are not protected. If the content is protected, you will not be able to view or hear it without HDCP. So the best answer would be... by passing unprotected content to the TV. You can't just shut it off, it's part of the copy protection scheme. I hope this was helpful.
This can be caused by the worksheet being protected. Check on the Review tab in the Changes group and see if the Protect Sheet or Unprotect Sheet icon is visible. If the Unprotect sheet icon is visible, then the sheet is protected and that would cause the merge cells icon to be inactive.
If you mean the menus are not available, that sounds like the document is protected. When a document is protected, some of the menu items become unavailable. You would have to unprotect the document. Hopefully the documents are not password protected. If so, you will need the password to unprotect them.
To Unprotect go to MENU down on the lower left when ur looking at screen press menu while u have one of the protected pics up. Go to Protect folder-select-ok-hit W at top-ok
it is now unprotected and u can delete from here!
Open the protected sheet... Go to edit and click select all. Go back to edit and click on copy. Open a new excel sheet, go to edit and click on paste. Now you have the copy of the protected sheet without the protection.
The default setting for each cell is for them to start locked. So, you
first need to highlight ALL cells in the sheet, right click, choose
format, go to the Protection tab and take the tick out of the Locked
box.
Now no cells are locked.
Now you need to select the one cell you want locking. Right click,
choose format cells, Protection tab and then put a tick into the Locked
box.
Locking the cells does not take place until you have locked the sheet.
So go to Tools, Protection and Protect Sheet. Add a password of your
choosing, and put a tick into every option available to you, EXCEPT the
very top option. "Select locked cells" should NOT have a tick in it.
OK that to confirm, and hey presto, that cell can no longer be
selected, edited or erased unless you unprotect the sheet by entering
the password you chose.
