Trying to install a Canon i560 on a computer with Windows Vista SP1

Just revert your computer the the restore point made just before you installed sp1.

Reinstall the driver file once again

make sure you bring your system in clean boot. Uninstall you security software. Install SP1 and then install your secuirty software.

Make sure you turn off your system for five minutes before you start installing SP1

Download the VISTA driver from the CANON website and install it. If you still have problems download service pack two and irnstall it first.Then instal the printer driver. DO not install VISTA service pack three with out installing two first.

you dont need any disc as all the drivers are preinstalled on vista computer..just connect the usb cable and it will automatically install it....a printer icon will be created under printers and faxes.
