Ref Kenmore 11020902991 fills then does nothing but hums. No agitation drain rinse spin. Nothing. Pump not clogged and coupler intact.

indicates 2 possible faults
no agitation . spinning- indicates a problem start / run capacitor for the motor ( hum )
drain is a separate motor and will not run until drain is activated
and that comes back to the second possible fault
problem program board not progressing to wash cycle
the hum could be a water control solenoid
call a technician for a proper diagnosis

Can a faulty lid switch cause a washer to spin but not drain

Hum only means something is blocked mechanicaly. Not likely lid switch since it cuts power when lid is open.

Drain pump[ hums

.It is possible that lack of voltage to the pump or fault in the pump can cause the hum. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

When washer turns on there is a horrible buzzing sound, e 20 error message was on before

This is a blocked drain error code (E20) which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code. In addition, replace the drain pump after having found no problem with the drain hose, cleaned the filter, and checked the drain pump impeller but the drain pump just hums, buzzes or whirs.

My samsung front loader will not start. It hums and clicks and will not start!!

The humming noise is the indication of faulty motor or motor getting blocked. If motor checks ok check for the blockage in the drain pump. But first check for the motor. Is it getting a spin.If not then it has to be replaced. You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate thissolution and show your appreciation.

My washing machine showing an OE error before end of cycle

OE error is noyhing but an Outlet Error.. OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Clean and straighten the drain hose / clean the drain filter. Check the hoses (drain hose) and the pump filter but if it didn't cure the problem then turn the thing upside down and strip the pump out of it check if anything is caught in the impellor.. if so remove it and everything will be fine..

We have a GE Profile Harmony washer, it just ran out of warranty in September. It will not drain, it had a message to check the drain hose there might be a clog. We did this the hose was clear. There is...

Along with checking the drain hose, check the drain port from the tub, something may be blocking the drain and no able to get into the tub, or it may be sucked into the pump.
What can happen with a fully loaded machine is, for example, if a small sock happens to be at the top of the load when the spin starts, it can be flung in between the inner perforated drum and the outer. If this gets down to the drain, it may block the drain hole and stay in the drum. It also could get sucked into the drain hose and stay there, or actually get into the pump ... My vote is that it's in the pump, if the pump is humming.
Give it another look.

Not Spinning or Draining !

Hey there
well from what I can understand here you need to check first 2 things
1) Check that the hose that is connected to the machine is empty and that there's nothing blocking the water.
2) another possiblity is that your Pump isn't working.
saince i don't knwo the model I can't tell what kind of pump you have, if you have direct pump is should be abouve the motor, it' pretty easy to inspect it and look at it, it may be blocked from all kind of junk (coins.....) another option is that the pump blades are worn out so it's not pumping ( i don't think its your case since your washer is prettry new)
Hope this helps
