Lanier doesn't seem to have specific drivers for windows 8.1, but you may be able to use the windows 7 drivers, here:

Sorry, You do not need Black toner, you need a Black PCU (Photo Conductor Unit). I have this same printer with the same warning. Unfortunately, This unit seems to be rather expensive. Good Luck
Reboot the machine first. If that doesn't work, go to user tools - system settings - file transfer or interface settings (depending on the model) and enter and admin email address. Then go to admin tools and tell it to auto specify a sender. It is looking for who is sending the scan, not who is receiving it...
Hi,
There's several ways to do this. I will tell you the easiest, (at least to explain).
1st- scan the document as usual, save it to your documents.
2nd- open an email, address it. Then click on the little icon at the top of your email that looks like a paper clip. This will open a box, just navigate to your documents & click once on the document that you want. This will put it in the email & you're ready to send. If you don't see a paper clip icon then click on 'insert'. This will do the same thing. If this helps plz rate this as 'fixya'. If you need more help leave a comment & I'll be happy to help. Thank you kindly.
IF you're scanning to folder, check your security settings in file sharing. Try allowing all permissions to each listed and apply. If you there is a computer that you know definately works already, have a look at their settings in security tab of file sharing - and change permissions to allow full control (for now). See if your scanning works.
Hold the up and down arrows together for 10 seconds, and press ok. Select 2, for engine. Scroll to 7 or data log, press ok. Scroll to 7807, press ok, execute, exit all the way back to engine, and select 3 to end. Turn printer off and on. Try it. It is a fuser code, and it just might be dirty where the sensor touches.
