Probably not! Xp will see it! 98 needs drivers. Get em at Coby Electronics. Search for your mp3, it is there...Mp-cXXX Manual and drivers are there too!

My daughter and I had the same problem. We found that we had some songs buried in other folders so we went through every file and just decided to delete everything and start over. It worked for us.

1. Did your unit comes with Coby Media Manager? THere are two versions of this unit, one comes with and one doesnt. You can usually tell, if your unit came with an Installation CD, then it doesnt use Coby Media Manager
2. To access CMM - Start > My Computer> Double click the removable disk drive that looks like a 'C' with a big red circle, follow prompts to open Coby Media Manager.
3. IF you somehow formatted or deleted it, you can download a new copy from here:
