Striped color distortions on Nokia 300 Xa flat panel

I count 13 vertical stripes, each 21 millimeters wide. Odd stripes (counting from left) are ok, even stripes distort the colors. Gray turns into a faint magenta, bright areas cause horizontal "leakage" to the right on even stripes.

Still some time ago bending the display (pushing with thumbs in the middle, pulling the sides) would fix the picture for some minutes before the stripes would return. Currently bending has no effect.

This is power supply problem.
1. First u replaced the power out put capacitors , 6V, 12V, etc.
2. cheak the diodes.

you need to create a striped candy then create another one and then mix them together 5 times. To make a striped candy line up 4 candies of the same type together then try and get 2 striped ones next to each then swap places with them and it'll clear a column and a row at once. this counts as one you have do this again 5 times,it'll check it off each time you are sucsessful

It may sound strange but be absolutely sure the cable is plugged into the monitor. Adapter on the computer. The serial adapter on the back looks just like video. Video actually has a faintly noticeable monitor icon rigtht next to it. Plugging into a serial can eventually blow out your monitor. Also, a.badcable can do the same thing. My al1916w monitor has a vertical blue stripe on the left side. It works fine except that the striped area discolors video. How do I fix that?

Unfortunately, a stripe on an LCD monitor indicates a physical failure of the LCD panel itself. The only solution is to replace the panel with a new one.

42" Panasonic Plasma - Vertical red stripe 6" from left side

We originally had a red stripe roughly 3" wide running vertically on the ride edge area of our Panasonic 52" Viera plasma tv. It has now been joined by a solid black stripe of the same width running from the top to the bottom. Living in Germany and purchased at local PX long enough ago that the warranty is likely expired.
