Roper washing machine banging and walking when in the spin cycle. I checked all the suspension springs and the water filled balancing ring. All in good shape. Checked and re-leveled machine side to side and front to back. Machine still does it. I noticed that the pads on the skate disc are worn, but the tub base pads are not. After running, the drum sags to the right. I can level it by hand, but it doesn't stay there, it migrates back to the right sided sag. I know I should replace the skate disc pads, and will do so, but it doesn't seem that this should cause this problem. I expected to see a broken suspension spring, but didn't. Can anybody tell me, is the water filled balance ring supposed to be totally full of water or just partially full? There's water in it, but it sloshes around freely inside. Thanks for any help.

put a car floor jack under the door and jack it up loosen the screws and try to close the door, you might need shims or washers. tighten each screw top bottom each one til its down so door must be leviled on the jack then bolt it on one at a time

Your springs should not be the issue, the body will rot around them before they do. It sounds like shocks to me. I would probably look into all 4 corners, but the rears at least.

What has probably happened is you got a hole or cracks in your airbag. Dealerships and mechanics typically diagnoses it as the compressor but that is only to keep you coming back and wasting more money on something that will never truly be fixed. Both the airbag and the compressor are the problem. The compressor has to work extra hard because it is like blowing up a balloon with a hole in it. Therefor the airbag will kill the compressor. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at the conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. The problem is that the foam that is glued to the fabric. It becomes crumbly and disintegrates into messy little bits that get into your hair and all over your car's interior. Trying to spray glue, while the headliner is still up there, won't work for long. The foam will keep crumbling and glue won't stick to it. It's sort of like trying to glue some cloth to the ground. No way will it stick.
There is a temporary fix on the do-it-yourself aisles in the automotive weekend warrior stores. It is a product that has a little curly cue, and a clear plastic head. The product is called a "Saggy Stopper". The clear head blends in with your headliner's color. It looks promising for a temporary fix.
