I need just a bit more info....1). exactly which I-link cable did you use and how is it connected to your computer?
Also, have you confirmed power to the camcorder?

If your transferring the video via USB then with Sony Cams you will need to download the drivers and install them (the sony website or google with normally have them)... then restart you computer and attempt to capture again using WMM.

PP seems corrupt, try reinstalling it and/or look at troubleshooting. if still f**ked then try rolling back your drivers to your camcorder and reinstalling them with a clean package.

If you haven't tried going to the manufacturers web site, do so now and try to find it there. Also, put your model name in your browser followed by "software."

The USB streaming driver for the Camcorder is not available from Sony at this point. Hence it is not possible to transfer videos using USB interface. You may use i.LINK or A/V interface to transfer videos from the Camcorder to the Computer which is running on Windows 7 Operating System.
