Hello Sonya,
The E0-F2 error code means that the oven temperature was higher than it's supposed to be. Usually the oven overheats because of a defective oven temperature sensor and the sensor should be checked. EO F2 The oven will not start or stop. I can not - 11_3_2011_2_07_54_pm.jpgthis is what the sensor looks like...it is located within the oven chamber(usually in the left side) to check it,it needs to unplugged and using a mulitmeter set to measure ohms, check the sensor to be between 1060-1100 ohms at room temp. if the sensor is way lower/higher that 1060-1100 at room temp the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced, if the sensor is within that range then the control board is the problem.

When I bake, my oven will start beeping and flash F2, what is that and how do I stop it?

Which manufacturer built your oven? The F2 error usually means that the oven temperature sensor is claiming the oven is too hot (or got too hot in the past). This usually requires replacing the temperature sensor. Sometimes, the control unit (clock) needs to be replaced.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model of your oven for additional support.

This message is displayed on my oven: EO - F2 - What does it mean?

E0 F2 fault code usually indicates a shorted touchpad on the oven control. Firs disconnect power to the range for 30 seconds and restore it. This will cause the electronic range control to reset and sometimes will clean errors.

If the error returns the touchpad on the control will have to be replaced. Some ranges have the touchpad made on the control and the oven control has to be replaced.

Open the drawer under the oven and look on the frame of the range around the opening the drawer slides into for a model number tag. Get the model number of the range and go to searspartsdirect and you can see a parts diagram and list for your range.

Hope this helps.

My oven model # wfg361lfb series : ry1912535 i put it on - it seemed to start up. suddenly the degrees started going down ... and now no buttons work (the clock still does) and it says F2 EO

Hello-  The code indicated-  F2 E0,  is an indicated fault in the touchpad, usually in one of the switches, but sometimes in the connection between them. Onsite diagnostics are required to see which component is affected. If fault does not clear after hitting cancel, then service is required. Solution is to replace touchpad.  Please acknowledge this post if helpful.  Have more info if needed- Thanks- Ed

Blinking EO and F2

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

EO F2 on our Kenmore oven keeps coming up.

The "F2 - E0" error code means "Shorted keypad".

Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.If the error code reappear - replace the control board. If not - replace the membrane switch.

Is a poorly connected keypad ribbon.
Remove the front panel and unplu, then re-insert the keypad ribbon in the control.

EO F2 Lock message on oven panel

The solution was to hold down the "start" button for five seconds, which reset the system. I figured out that I had entered the model number of my oven wrong (mistaking a "Z" for a "2"). When I re-entered the correct model number in the "search for manual" section of the Whirlpool site, I was able to access the user manual and find the section that walked me through the correction.
